Fraud warning

Our company takes every report and suspicion of fraudulent activity seriously. From time to time we identify companies that use our name or names similar to it without permission. This can confuse customers and spread false information about our company and its services, so we publish this warning and keep it updated.

Why this notice exists

Fraudsters imitate brands that people already trust, because trust is the hardest thing to fake and the easiest thing to borrow. We issue this notice for three reasons: to tell you what our official channels are, so a look-alike cannot masquerade as one; to explain the patterns these imitations follow, so you can recognise them anywhere; and to state plainly what we will never ask you for, so that a request for secrets disqualifies the requester by itself.

Cloned companies

A clone uses our name, our logo or a close variant of our web address while offering investment schemes, returns that sound too tidy to be honest, or account services that have nothing to do with us. If you suspect you are dealing with a clone using the Zing markbit brand, do not share any personal information with it and notify us immediately at [email protected] with the address or number that approached you. We work continuously to identify clones, and we are honest about the limit of that work: some remain unidentified for a period, and new ones appear faster than any list can track.

How to check you are with us

Our only domain

The platform lives at zing-markbit.org and nowhere else. A different ending, extra words or a look-alike spelling means a different operator, whatever the page looks like.

Our mail addresses

Messages from the platform come from addresses ending in @zing-markbit.org. Free mailboxes and other domains writing in our name are not us.

What we never ask

No genuine representative asks for your password, your two-factor codes or your full card number, by e-mail, phone or chat. Any such request is fraud by definition.

How pressure reads

Urgency, secrecy and promises that sound too tidy are the fingerprint of a scam. We give you space to decide and we publish our risks in plain words.

Misuse of our name

We are aware of cases where our name and personal details of our staff have been misused for fraudulent purposes we cannot influence or control. While we sincerely regret the financial losses suffered by anyone caught in such schemes, our company is not liable for fraudulent operations carried out in our name by parties we neither employ nor authorise. That liability question is separate from our practical help: report the case to us and to the police, and we will assist investigations with the records we legitimately hold.

Always verify the legitimacy of any company you deal with online before sharing personal data or entering any business relationship. Check the domain character by character, be suspicious of unsolicited contact, and when in doubt write to our official address before, not after, acting.
