Withdrawal policy

This policy explains how withdrawals from Zing markbit accounts work, what can delay them, and what we ask of you so that your money reaches the right destination. By using the platform you accept this policy. It is written to match the practical detail on the deposit and withdrawal methods page, so the two documents never disagree.

A personal manager will call you within 24 hours.

1. Available withdrawal methods

Withdrawals are available to MTN Mobile Money and Airtel Money wallets, to Visa and Mastercard cards, and to bank accounts. In line with our security rules, funds return by preference to the destination they arrived from: money deposited by mobile money withdraws to the same wallet, card deposits return to the same card where the issuing bank supports it, and bank transfers return to the account of origin. A destination that did not fund the account can be added after a holding period, which exists to protect you against drained accounts.

2. Processing times

Mobile money withdrawals are normally completed within 24 hours of approval. Card withdrawals reach your statement in 1 to 5 business days, depending chiefly on your issuing bank. Bank transfer withdrawals take 1 to 3 business days after approval. "Business days" means Zambian working days; requests submitted on Friday evening begin processing on Monday. Internal approval itself usually concludes within hours during support hours.

3. What can delay a withdrawal

Delays have ordinary causes and extraordinary ones. Ordinary: a verification document that has expired, a public holiday in the payment chain, a receiving bank performing its own checks, or a first withdrawal to a newly added destination during its holding period. Extraordinary: an open compliance question on the account, a mismatch between the account name and the destination name, or a security hold after unusual activity. In every case the dashboard shows the request as pending with the category of the hold, and support can tell you what specifically is being waited for.

4. Fees and charges

Zing markbit charges nothing for withdrawing: the fee column on every withdrawal method is Free. Costs that can nonetheless touch a withdrawal come from outside us, such as a receiving bank's own incoming-transfer fee or a mobile network's wallet charges, and those are set by the receiving party. Any amount we do apply, now or in the future, is shown on the confirmation screen before you submit the request, never discovered after.

5. Limits

Each method carries a minimum and a maximum per transaction, and daily limits apply at account level. The minima sit at a level an ordinary user never notices, and the maxima exist to stage large movements through successive requests rather than one unbounded transfer. Your current limits appear in the withdrawal dialog, and a limit that genuinely constrains a legitimate plan can be reviewed with your manager, who can arrange raised limits once verification supports it.

6. Verification checks

Identity verification as described on the AML and KYC page must be complete before the first withdrawal, whatever the amount. Larger withdrawals, or withdrawals whose pattern triggers a monitoring question, can be asked to clear an additional check, most often a confirmation that the source of the funds matches your declared profile. These checks are required by the environment we operate in and are applied by rules, not by moods.

7. Reasons a request may be declined

A withdrawal can be declined when the destination details do not match the verified account holder, when verification is expired or missing, when the account holds an unresolved compliance or security question, when the request conflicts with a legal obligation we must honour, or when the funds in question are still settling from a recent deposit. A decline always carries a stated reason and, wherever the cause is on your side, the step that clears it. Declining is never used to keep money that is legitimately yours: once the blocking question resolves, a fresh request proceeds normally.

8. Your responsibility for destination details

The details you enter for a withdrawal are used exactly as entered. A wallet number mistyped by one digit, a card number read from an old message, or a bank account belonging to someone else will send your money where you pointed it, not where you meant. We check name matches and we flag obvious inconsistencies, but the authoritative source is you at the moment of entry. Treat the confirmation screen as the last quiet moment to verify digits.

9. Cancelling or changing a request

A pending request can be cancelled from the dashboard while its status has not moved to processing, returning the amount to your balance immediately. Once processing has begun, cancellation is no longer possible on our side because the payment chain has your instruction. Changing an amount means cancelling and re-submitting; there is no partial-edit state, which is a deliberate simplicity that prevents ambiguous transfers.

10. Support for withdrawal matters

Questions and problems with withdrawals go to [email protected], and the team answers during Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00 (CAT) with an average reply within one business hour. Include the reference shown in your dashboard; it maps your message to the exact request without further questions. If a payment has left our side and not arrived, support traces it with the receiving provider and gives you the trace reference for your own follow-up.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy can be updated as our methods, the payment environment or the applicable Zambian requirements change. The current version is always the one published on this page, an update takes effect from its publication, and material changes to fees, timings or limits are announced to registered users by e-mail in advance where practicable. Continuing to use the platform after a change accepts the updated version.
